Why trust these numbers

Rates you can't Google. Verified the old-fashioned way.

Almost no park publishes its winter monthly rate online — and the listing sites only track nightly prices. So we do it by hand, park by park, every season.

1

We call & email every park

Monthly rate, seasonal packages, what's included (electric, cable, Wi-Fi), age rules, rig rules — straight from the office.

2

We publish it with a date

Every verified rate is marked ✓ Verified with when we confirmed it. Anything we haven't confirmed yet is clearly labeled an estimate.

3

We re-check every season

Rates change yearly. Each fall we re-verify the full list for the coming winter, and readers tell us what they actually paid.

Quartzsite includes BLM long-term permit land ($180 covers the whole season), which pulls its typical cost far below full-hookup parks.

Common questions

Why don't parks just publish these rates online?

Habit, mostly — many snowbird parks are small, long-established operations that fill by phone, word of mouth, and returning guests. Monthly and seasonal pricing also shifts with demand and length of stay, so offices prefer to quote it directly. That's exactly the gap this site closes.

What does "verified" mean here?

A verified rate came directly from the park — by phone or email — for the season shown, and carries the date we confirmed it. Estimates come from park websites or regional averages and are labeled as such until we reach the office.

Are you affiliated with any of these parks?

No. We're an independent, reader-supported project. Parks don't pay to be listed, and payment never affects a rate or a ranking.

Rates look different when I call — why?

Rates change through the season and often depend on length of stay, rig size, and party size. Treat our numbers as your starting point for comparison, and always confirm the final price with the park before booking.
