What we know so far

Small 55+ park in the Foothills with one of the lower published rate ladders in the area — regular sites $565/month plus electric, small-RV sites (30 ft and under) from $420, and a 6-month seasonal at $2,650. The posted schedule is dated last season, so we're confirming the 2026–27 numbers with the office.

The area: Yuma Foothills

The Foothills, east of town along I-8, is Yuma's classic snowbird belt — big 55+ resorts, quiet desert edges, and views toward the Gila and Fortuna ranges, with its own strip of restaurants and winter farmers-market mornings. It runs a little removed from central Yuma, which is exactly why many longtime regulars prefer it.

Common questions

Why don't parks just publish these rates online?

Habit, mostly — many snowbird parks are small, long-established operations that fill by phone, word of mouth, and returning guests. Monthly and seasonal pricing also shifts with demand and length of stay, so offices prefer to quote it directly. That's exactly the gap this site closes.

What does "verified" mean here?

A verified rate came directly from the park — by phone, email, in person, or from their printed rate card — for the season shown, and carries the date we confirmed it. Estimates come from park websites or regional averages and are labeled as such until we reach the office.

Why do you show an "effective monthly" number?

Parks quote nightly, weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual prices that aren't directly comparable — and what's included (especially electricity) varies by tier. The effective-monthly row converts every tier to a per-month figure so you can compare like with like. Where electricity is billed separately, budget roughly $75–150 a month extra in winter.

Rates look different when I call — why?

Rates change through the season and often depend on length of stay, rig size, and party size. Treat our numbers as your starting point for comparison, and always confirm the final price with the park before booking.
