* Electricity billed separately at this tier — budget roughly $75–150/mo extra for metered electricity in a Yuma winter, depending on heating and cooling habits. "≈ /mo" converts each tier to an effective monthly cost so tiers compare like-for-like (nightly ×30.4, weekly ×4.35, annual ÷12).
Amenities checklist
The same checklist appears on every park page: 10 amenities confirmed. A "?" means we haven't confirmed that item yet — not that the park lacks it — so check with the office before you book around it.

What we know so far
Cal-Am 55+ resort with 313 sites (fits rigs up to 47 ft), an executive golf course, and a full winter activity calendar. Season price is booked through Cal-Am reservations; a single-month rate may differ.
The area: Yuma Foothills
The Foothills, east of town along I-8, is Yuma's classic snowbird belt — big 55+ resorts, quiet desert edges, and views toward the Gila and Fortuna ranges, with its own strip of restaurants and winter farmers-market mornings. It runs a little removed from central Yuma, which is exactly why many longtime regulars prefer it.
Booking a winter site here: what to ask the office
- January is peak — ask for the January monthly rate specifically, then how November, December, and March differ.
- Ask whether electricity is included or metered at YOUR tier. In winter it can swing a cheap-looking rate by $75–150 a month — and several parks include it on daily/weekly stays but bill it on monthly.
- Ask which months the seasonal package covers and what deposit holds a site — full-season spots at popular parks are gone by early fall.
- Confirm rig rules (age limits, length) and pet rules before you commit.
- Get the quote in writing if you can, and compare it against the verified date shown on this page.
